Copper Granules

A pure form granular copper with 99.9% purity is a costly product. It is most commonly used in the manufacture of self-lubricating bearings, but it is also used in injection moulding, friction components and lubricants, and certain types of coatings.

Copper granules are commonly used in the following applications:

1.  Catalyst filter manufacturing
2. Used as a catalyst and in catalyst preparation in the chemical industry.
3. For the manufacture of copper chemicals.
4. Because of its excellent electrical and thermal conductivities, copper powder is used in the electrical and electronics industries.
5. The self-lubricating bearing was the first major application and still accounts for approximately 70% of granular copper powder usage.
6. Manufacturing of metallic filters.
7. It is primarily used in alloying with other metals.
8. Antifouling paints, decorative and protective coatings are also available.
